Well 2008 race season is winding down and it was a great one. Thanks to all the Voodoo members who stepped up and made it possible. Special thanks to Carlo and Jama for all there hard work behind the scenes. The Club is looking forward to 2009 with the Gas Nationals coming to town. There will some changes in 2009 that will help us move forward.

1.The club will purchase a new catch boat and motor.
2.The club will purchase a digital clock.
3.Chris Herzog has stepped up to Event/Race coordinator. Thanks Chris.
4. A checking account will be set up in the Clubs name. This is Louisiana and it is not easy task. Any member who wants to try contact me.

There also will be some rule changes for this coming year.

1.Membership dues are 35.00 and are due by 2-1-09 and a current IMPBA card must be presented or you will be required to fill out the form and a payment check made out to the IMPBA. The locks will be changed so sign up and get your key.
2.Work parties will be scheduled at least every other month for minor maintenance and each member is required to attend at least 4 per year. This does not include the weekend before a race event. There will be no boat racing until work is complete. No Exceptions!!
3.Before each race/event Every member is required to attend work party.
4. Meetings will be held Quarterly each member is encouraged to attend. The dates will be released in January 2009.
5.Each member is encouraged to come up with creative ideas. Write these ideas on paper and it will be voted on at club meetings.
6. Each member will be asked to handle certain task through out the year. If there is something you would like to handle let the Officers know.
7.There will be more things to come.
