i got a proboat hypersport 48" been havin some throttle cable assembly.... the way boat works:

throttle cable connects to servo travels thru reciever box then goes to a bolt with a hole in it, slides through this bolt and connects to carb... my cable does have the plastic liner around it...

my problem:
everytime i open it up the plastic housing aound the cable moves instead of the cable itself... therefore the carb will not open/close up correctly...


my solution:
maybe jb quick weld, or something alomg those lines, one end to the hole on the reciever box to prevent it from moving as well as thensame method to the housing to that bolt so that end wont move either..

im hopin someone on her has or has seen a similar setup and can gimme some feedback on if my jb weld will work... trying to prevent an hour drive to cc to see carlo lol

Same linkage on a blackjack 55. Cut small sections of fuel line and [small line]
slide it on your liner before and after carb bracket to hold the liner in place.
I have seen that done before , hope that helpsB)

i will try it out tommorow, will let you know.. its just a damn shame that i can drop 750$ on a boat and have problems out the get go
